Drum Trap & Lead Toilet Flange

Location:
Upstairs bathroom. Direct access to plumbing from unfinished basement below.

Objective:
My goal is to finish the ceiling below this upstairs bathroom. Before I do this I'd like to deal with some old plumbing. The upstairs bathroom has a drum trap on the shower and a lead flange on the toilet.

In order to finish the ceiling, here is the plumbing work I need done:

1. Replace the shower drum trap. In addition to the drum trap, the drain pipe after the trap is extending below the joists and into the available head room. So I'd like the drum trap replaced and the drain pipe routed differently to regain the head room. (For example, along the perimeter where I could build a soffit later)

2. Replace the lead toilet flange.
