My previous landlord thanked us for taking such good care of the property while living there as well as when we moved out (both on their letterhead) but when it was time to return our security deposit, they fraudulantly withheld almost our entire deposit claiming they needed to repaint. I have proof they DIDN'T paint the house (but charged 8 hours for labor & additional for paint). I have photos, witnesses (unbiased business neighbor) and at least 3 of their own employees would have to lie under oath to protect the fraud performed by their superior... I am on disability, they know I cannot afford to hire an attorney, and their attorney all but refused any & all discovery info (proof of work done in unit, last time unit painted, etc). He laughed because I said I was 'Pro Se'. I'm ALSO a Certified Occupancy Specialist & was in Property management prior to disability for close to 20 years.... WE CAN WIN THIS - TOGETHER!?! PLEASE?
